Harris Corporation’s Analytical Instrumentation business took on the big challenge of getting inventory under control upon completion of a facility move and keeping it that way. They will discuss how to run a physical inventory effort from the QAD steps to the time frame. Once their Inventory was in sync, both physically and in QAD, they implemented the QAD formal cycle counting. They are currently maintaining cycle counting at >98% accuracy, which has eliminated the need for annual physical inventories to ensure accuracy. They will also discuss the QAD inventory reports that are keeping inventory in control.
